The author uses mystery and suspense in a way that’ll have you experiencing emotion in a truly unforgettable way. From the haunting opening scene to the heart-pounding ending, I was on the edge of my seat, I just couldn’t tear myself away from the thing.
The author’s nuanced exploration of human relationships and the impact of past traumas was something I loved about this book. Through the characters of Adrian Franklin and Conner Wallace, Clark dives deep into the complexities of identity and loyalty. Psychological thrillers are my favorite genre and Clark didn’t disappoint. The Devil Won’t Keep Us Apart is a must read.
